There are three main diffuser types:
OPAL DIFFUSER

Opal Diffuser
What is the Opal diffuser?
A 3mm opal acrylic diffuser is the standard option supplied with all skylight kits. It sits withing the ceiling surround and softens incoming light to create a comfortable, evenly lit space.
What is the diffuser made of?
Manufactured from opal acrylic, it gently diffuses daylight to reduce glare while still allowing strong light output.
Can the Opal diffuser be cleaned easily?
Yes. It can be cleaned with a soft cloth, warm water and a mild detergent.
What are the advantages of the Opal diffuser?
Provides soft, even light distribution, making it ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and living areas. Its clean white finish suits most ceiling styles.
Prismatic Diffuser
What is the Prismatic diffuser?
The Prismatic diffuser sits within the ceiling surround and is designed to maximise and distribute light more sharply throughout the space.
What is the diffuser made of?
A 4.5mm high-quality acrylic, rigid light-diffusing panel, designed to minimize glare and optimize light distribution in commercial, retail, and residential settings. Often referred to as K15 or Y15 acrylic.

Yes. It can be cleaned with a soft cloth, warm water and a mild detergent.
What are the advantages of the Prismatic diffuser?
Delivers a brighter, crisper light finish while evenly distributing light, making it ideal where maximum light output is preferred.
Glocell (Egg Crate) Diffuser
What is the Glocell diffuser?
The Glocell diffuser sits within the ceiling surround and allows airflow through the panel while still letting natural light into the space.

Manufactured from durable acrylic, it features an open grid design that supports ventilation while maintaining strength.
